The Knife – För alla namn vi inte får använda

It turns out that The Knife‘s contribution to the antinational cabaret called Europa Europa resulted in the release of the regular track and by saying ‘regular’ I mean it possesses all of the following elements – vocal parts, characteristic for this Swedish duo sound and acceptable running time. In few words – it does not resemble Old Dreams Waiting To Be Realized at all. But there are things that have not changed since Shaking The HabitualFör alla namn vi inte får använda is heavily influenced by politics and it features yet another crazy dance that we are supposed to learn to fully enjoy the music. Well, good luck with that!

Presenting: The Deer Tracks

I think we can all agree that there is something about Scandinavian electronic music that makes it very special. We do not have to dig deep into our minds to find obvious examples like The Knife, Röyksopp or Little Dragon. Fortunately, the list is not short. And it includes The Deer Tracks.

The Deer Tracks is a Swedish duo consisting of two multi-instrumentalists – David Lehnberg and Elin Lindfors. Aurora, their first release, dates back to 2008. Now they are focused on The Archer Trilogy. Its first part has been released in 2010 as a five-track EP, second part in 2011 as a full-length album. Third part will probably come out very soon so you still have a chance to get ready for it.
