Willis Earl Beal – Acousmatic Sorcery

Willis Earl Beal. That is a musician with THE story. Few years back he was still a homeless guy leaving flyers with his poetry and drawings around Albuquerque and dropping CDs with his music in public places around the town. Fortunately, he was dicovered by and featured in several issues of  the Found Magazine. Thanks to this Willis was contacted by many public people which resulted in signing a recording contract with brand new label called Hot Charity.

Beal’s debut album – Acousmatic Sorcery – was released in April 2012 and features unusual mix of experimental and acoustic music.

And here is another song called Monotony. When I hear it, I cannot shake off the impression that this is Damon Albarn singing. But no, this is Willis Earl Beal – the homeless guy from Chicago.
